When it comes to music, Cardiff has a lot going on, with this vibrant exciting city offering anything from small gigs at local pubs and clubs, to larger concerts at venues like the Utilita Arena. Clwb Ifor Bach is a Welsh live music venue situated in the city of Cardiff, hosting everyone from international, local and emerging artists. Its stage has seen the likes of The Killers, Kasabian, Stereophonics, The Strokes, The Kasier Chiefs and many, many more covering a variety of musical genres.
This year’s line-up is looking good too. There’s the British Band Skinny Lister, whose sounds combine folk, punk and sea shanties, back with their new album, appropriately titled “Shanty Punk” Skinny Lister - Yacooba, American alternative rock and punk rock band Militarie Gun - Yacooba, Beak, the English experimental electronic rock music band, with Geoff Barrow (of Portishead), Billy Fuller (Robert Plant's Sensational Space Shifters) and Will Young (Moon Gangs), making up the group.

Cardiff Castle is one of Wales’ leading heritage attractions, located within beautiful parklands at the heart of the capital’s city centre. It offers a diverse range of activities throughout the year and it’s a great place for a summer concert too, and although you have maybe just missed Avril Lavigne, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are also playing, so get your tickets now for what is sure to be a great show!
